Curse of the Judas Chalice is the last of the three Librarian TV movies prior to the fully fledged The Librarians TV series.
It was an absolute delight to find in this movie that the main female cast member was that of Stana Katic who these days plays Kate Beckett in Castle. Her entrance in this movie was delightful in which we first meet her when she was singing in a night club and she was very good at it.
Her character Simone Renoir is eventually revealed to be a vampire. In a casting curio playing her fiancé and title character in Castle is Nathan Fillion. Fillion appeared in the last few episodes of Buffy season 7 in which his character Caleb killed potential vampire slayers. No wonder they got on in Castle as it is a good match between a vampire and a vampire slayer killer.
Curse of the Judas Chalice was very good in exploring the Dracula legend but I did not like what ultimately happens to Simone.
