Antepenultimate episode of season 4.
Tony Head makes his first appearance as Paracelsus in this episode.
Considering what Warehouse 13 has been about it is quite surprising that it has taken until the near end of season 4 for that episode title to be used.
The Lost part of the episode title could be a reference to the Lost TV series as this episode feature a smoke monster and Lost also had a smoke monster.
It was glance upon back in The Living and The Dead but it been made very elaborate here by Charlotte that she and Sutton (James Marsters who is not in this episode) are immortals but they are not immune from dying. They do die but they are able to literally come back to life shortly afterwards.
Polly Walker had guest starred in two episodes of Sanctuary a series that is kind of like Warehouse 13 in which her character Ranna killed off the regular characters but brought them literally back to life.
As mentioned before James Marsters had played Captain John Hart in Torchwood, another series that is kind of like of Warehouse 13 and Torchwood lead character Captain Jack Harkness is also an immortal who can still die and literally can come back to life.
This is not the only apparent homage to the Whoniverse, which Torchwood is part of, in this Warehouse 13 episode as it also had Nick knocked out Claudia as she was about to reveal certain information with him saying spoilers. This felt rather akin to River Song saying that word in Doctor Who when warning against knowledge of one’s personal future.
Myka sure had crazy thoughts on how Pete would react to her having ovarian cancer but quite a moving scene when she finally did tell him.
